Questions

Do I need a Hikara account?
No. The analyzer works entirely without one. You only need an account if you want the connection graph afterwards.
Is my library uploaded anywhere?
No. The CSV is read by JavaScript running in your own browser tab. It is never sent to Hikara or to anyone else — you can disconnect from the network after the page loads and it still works.
How do I get my Goodreads export?
On Goodreads, go to My Books, then Import and Export in the left sidebar, then Export Library. Goodreads emails you a CSV within a few minutes.
What if my export has no genres?
A Goodreads export has no genre column at all — the shelves you created are the only subject signal in the file. If you never used genre shelves, the subject section is skipped and everything else still works.
