Who writes these pages

Pages are bylined to the Hikara Team rather than to individuals. We don't publish under invented personas or borrowed credentials.

How claims are checked

• About Hikara: every feature, limit and price is checked against the product itself. If something is planned but not built, we don't describe it as available.
• About other apps: features and prices are checked against the company's own website, and each comparison shows the date those details were last checked. Prices change, so treat them as correct on that date.
• Numbers: we don't invent statistics, ratings, reviews or testimonials. A figure appears only with its source.

Comparisons and rankings

We make Hikara, so we're not neutral. Every comparison says where the other app is the better choice, and every ranked list states the criteria it ranks by. No company pays to be included or to be ranked higher, and links to other apps are plain links, not affiliate links.

How AI is used

Some pages are drafted or edited with the help of AI writing tools. They're checked against the rules on this page before they're published, and they carry the same byline and the same responsibility as everything else here.

Separately, some pages are generated by Hikara's own AI rather than written by the team: the connection pages explaining how two books relate, and the "books like this" lists on book pages. Those are labelled as AI analysis and credited to Hikara, not to the team.

Dates and updates

Each page shows when it was last updated, and that date changes only when the content does, not when a page is merely republished. Pages are revised when Hikara or another app changes in a way that affects them.
