The Once and Future Witches vs. Wild Card

A Harmonious Echo

You rated 'Wild Card' a strong 4/5, and while 'The Once and Future Witches' has no rating, both books resonate with a similar underlying exploration of agency within constrained worlds. You've subconsciously connected these two works through their protagonists' journeys of finding power and identity amidst societal expectations and limitations. The surprising echo lies in how both Elsie Silver and Alix E. Harrow, through vastly different narrative styles, illuminate the quiet, often unseen, but ultimately profound ways individuals carve out their own futures.
