Hikara is a reader-focused knowledge graph. Pricing is per-user, per-month. All plans include a 7-day free trial on paid tiers and no card on Free. Yearly billing is one payment for 12 months.

Region pricing: TIER1 = US/UK/EU/CA/AU/NZ/JP/SG/etc. TIER23 = lower-cost regions. The site detects region automatically; both tiers receive identical features and quotas.

## Trial terms

- 7 days free on Basic or Premium when you start a paid plan.
- Cancel any time during the trial; no charge if you cancel before day 7.
- Quotas during trial follow the trial plan (Basic or Premium).
- One trial per user account.

## Refunds

- Refund requests within 14 days of any charge are honored on a no-questions-asked basis. Email hello@hikara.io.
- Pro-rated refunds are not issued for partial months; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

## Billing & payment

- Provider: Lemon Squeezy. Cards processed through Lemon Squeezy's PCI-compliant pipeline.
- Currency: Charged in USD; your bank may convert at its rate.
- Tax: VAT/sales tax added where applicable, calculated by Lemon Squeezy at checkout.

## Changes

- Upgrade: takes effect immediately, prorated.
- Downgrade: takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation: keep access until the end of the current period.
