Depths of Vanalf

The entire world is pending destruction as monsters are taking over, but a last ditch effort several hundred years ago allowed the Grimnirs to create a shield around their island using the portals. When monsters start showing up on the island, it appears they aren't as safe as they thought. They'll need more Grimnirs to ensure their safety, but to become a magic-wielder, they'll need to traverse the depths of Vanalf, a cave system that connects the realms, making it the most dangerous place imaginable. Fortunately, there's one ragtag crew that's up to the task.
